Old Pueblo Traders [.OPT.] is a rapidly growing corporation on a mission to facilitate a fun and diverse sandbox experience for its members. We are looking for miners, explorers, warriors and industrialists alike!
The universe of New Eden is filled with a wide variety of opportunities to achieve untold amounts of wealth, fame, respect and honor. But most of all, EVE offers a great player community in which players have the freedom to shape their own experience.
Here at OPT, we embrace this diversity and aim to include as many different activities in our core curriculum as our members desire to pursue. We are based in HS, but are no strangers to LS, NS and J-space. Our activities include all facets of industry, small-gang pvp, WH-diving, pve and exploration. Content is created by the members, for the members and is driven by whichever opportunities are presented or sought after, without being limited to any particular activity or discipline.
Though some might characterize this mentality as “a Jack of all Trades, Master of None”, we value the individual player experience over corporate dogma. Our goal is to facilitate and encourage our members to develop skills and engage in activities that are most rewarding and fun for them. We aspire to be good at what we do, whatever that might be.
We are looking to expand our numbers with players who feel drawn to our cause, both new and experienced. We are looking for both EUTZ and USTZ players!
What we offer;
- Active and well-organized leadership structure
- “Real life always comes first” policy
- Newbro-friendly environment
- Opportunity to learn from experienced players coming from diverse backgrounds
- Daily exploration and pvp roams
- (Near) continuous mining fleets with Orca boosts
- Ship Replacement Program (SRP) for T1 frigates, destroyers, cruisers and Fleet Doctrine ships
- Free T1/T2 mining and exploration equipment
- Free Ventures and T1 exploration frigates
- Private TS3 and forum
Additionally, for experienced players we offer;
- The opportunity to actively participate in the corporation’s organization and operation.
- Potential leadership opportunities
- Opportunities to apply and develop FC-ing skills
- Mature, no drama-environment
Minimum qualifications;
- A minimum of zero skill points
- Enthusiasm and the willingness to adhere to our corporation’s mission pursuing diverse activities.
- The willingness to learn and/or help others
- Don’t be aggressive, condescending or otherwise antagonizing; we uphold a strict Zero-Tolerance policy towards assholes and douchebags
Further remarks;
- No minimum age requirement, though we demand mature behavior, attitude and mentality.
- A willingness to train towards corp doctrine fleet ships is highly encouraged as this improves a fleet’s efficacy and efficiency, though all ships/races/roles will be accepted in fleets.
- No hard requirement for VOIP comms, though being able to listen in on TS3 is required for fleet participation (i.e. it’s ok if you don’t have a microphone).
- Any real-life skills and experiences that are applicable in game (leadership, operational, military, IT, Graphic Design etc.), are greatly appreciated!
If all of this sounds like paradise to you, or if you have any other questions feel free to drop us a line via EVE-mail, our in-game public channel, or on our public forums!
